You are literally starting to make my job impossible by making it impossible to find original sources for images.
I feel so bad for fan artists who make all these beautiful images I see everywhere only to have them stolen, and reposted over and over and over and over and over again with no link, no mention, no credit to the original source. I know for a fact there are pages and pages of weheartit stuff that comes directly or indirectly from this blog. I don’t mean to just harp on the weheartit crowd it happens on pinterest (and tumblr and elsewhere) too, but weheartit is home to by far the worst offenders. I used to be able to do a search by image on google and it’s getting to the point where it doesn’t work anymore. There are just too many reposts.
This is a problem that has gotten out of control and it needs to stop. Those fan edits, and fan art, and text graphics, are all someone’s art! And when you take it from weheartit, or anywhere and posted as your own, or not as your own but source less, you are participating in art thievery and it is not acceptable behavior.
This needs to stop. This is not constructive behavior for building an fan community. If doesn’t have a source don’t post it. If it doesn’t have a source or is the source don’t reblog it. It does not matter how cute that set it with all the little tfios images if it isn’t sourced don’t do it. Please, credit artists who very hard to create all those beautiful works.
I am like 5 seconds away from creating a side blog whose only purpose is to find the original source of stolen john green books fan artwork.
Here it is http://letsfindtheoriginal.tumblr.com/ if you would like to help message me. )

Eh. I guess they are okay.
All together in one post.
Psst… Would anyone be interested if I sold these? I got some “likes” on the other posts, so… tell me what you think.
For my Final Major Project, in Photography, I decided to base it on the book Looking For Alaska, by John Green.
I knew that from the start, I wanted at least three final photos that I could frame and display with quotes from the book - the photographs each representing a quote from the book. My exhibition starts on Friday. Scary stuff.
So these are my three final prints and these are the quotes they represent:
Photo 1: “Scared isn’t a good excuse.”
(For this, I decided to recreate the kitchen scene when Alaska was younger.. The description when Alaska describes what happened will be displayed next to this photo, along with the scared quote.)
Photo 2: “She fell apart because that’s what happens.”
(I just hoped this would work well. I hope it does!)
Photo 3: “Memories fall apart too. And then you’re left with nothing.”
(I decided to do a photo of old letters and keys and ended up focusing on the flower that looks similar to the one used on the cover of the books. I even plucked the petals to make sure there were exactly twelve, like in and on the book cover. I made the flowers a running theme through all the photographs so that they all linked, too.)
I just hope this is okay.
Drop me a message and let me know, nerdfighters, please!
I know these aren’t quotes per say but they were far too stunning not to reblog

“But, Gus, my love, I cannot tell you how thankful I am for our little infinity. I wouldn’t trade it for the world. You gave me a forever within the numbered days, and I’m grateful.”
